Isn't it Just a Cartoon?

Wow, the Muslims take this "no pictures of Mohammad" thing pretty seriously. But riots in the streets? People dying? A Salmon Rushdie-type fatwa on the Danish cartoonists? Maybe a little too far here. Is this a freedom of speech issue? I don't know. When that one "artist" dipped a crucifix in urine and Christians freaked out, we were definitely accused of suppressing free speech. Of course, not all Muslims are taking to the streets by any means. The vast majority, I'm sure, while upset at the pictures, would prefer a much different approach to voicing their concern. But just like Christians get stereotyped when Pat Robertson does our talking, I guess so goes it in the world of Islam when the radicals get all the attention.
