Yikes, not a fun week. I had gotten to feeling not so well over the weekend, but still came to work. Made it through Monday and Tuesday, but just barely. Meanwhile, Dorene was not doing so well and the kids were coming down with something too. Turns out, we ALL had strep throat.
So, Wednesday and Thursday were spent at home. Anna and Cameron both had field trips at school they had to miss (although they weren't too disappointed). Luckily, we caught Allison in time with an antibiotic before she really got sick. I'd been pretty much fighting something for well over a week, but being in an extremly busy season at work, couldn't take any time off until now.
But, all is well. I'm just about over it and am back at work today. Now, looking forward to the 3-day weekend. Heading to Chicago for the weekend, then to Ohio on Monday.
